There is no well, cistern, septic system or electricity on the property and electricity is not close by. The property is considered off grid. There are great views from the property to the snow capped Collegiate Peaks, Buffalo Peaks and the Mosquito Mountain Range. It is about 4.5 miles from a paved road at CO-9 and close to two more miles up to the town of Hartsel. The property and Hartsel are near the center of Colorado and close to all things Colorado - fishing at three area reservoirs, hunting, hiking in either Pike or San Isabel National Forests, snowmobiling, skiing at either Breckenridge or Monarch Ski Resorts, etc. Dining out, shopping and white water rafting on the Arkansas River is a short drive down to Buena Vista. Hartsel is about two hours southwest of Denver and a little more than an hour east of Colorado Springs. The South Park area is known for being a great recreational destination. In addition to the three local reservoirs - Antero, Spinney and Eleven Mile Reservoirs - Wildhorse Reservoir is under construction and will open nearby in a few short years. Plan to check out this property very soon.
